We had our Ohio state champs race this past saturday and I am pleased to announce that the DB10R is the champion!!! It was a very close race between myself and our local hot shoe up until 4min 45sec into the race when the center of his front right wheel broke and I was able to put some distance between us. The car was tracion rolling all day until the third qualifier when I glued the outside edges of the tires. I then set the lap record total lap record and took TQ. In the main i led the entire way with Mike Collins On my heals the entire time, it was a great race. Now I want to try even harder to get up to Cleveland next month.

I just received this car last night and only got to get the front end together tonight. So far so good! The packaging is awesome, I can't get any screws mixed up! My only gripe is with the instructions, too much reading and not enough pictures! Just kidding, they are great, I cannot wait to get this car on track!

Hi Jason,

I am getting ready to order one of the 10th scale cars and I am looking for a servo recommendation. Also our local club alows lipos, I am going to use the new SMC saddle pack, Do I need the weighted lipo try for this pack?

Thanks, Lee

I like the futaba 9602 but any servo will work. You wont need the lipo tray but it does help.

I just checked and the SMC hard case saddle pack lipo will fit our car with the weighted tray. It will just require a tall cell mounting kit which will consist of 3 standoffs and a tall ballstud.

That's great news. I know that will make a lot of people happy, me included if and when lipo is allowed in the class. One more thing I have not had a chance to call to order that bumper and the spec tires, can I send you my info in a PM to get that rolling? I'm going to need them before the Holloween Classic on 10/24.
