Great kit! Beautiful satin finish carbon fiber and gray anodized aluminum. Excellent machining and parts fit. Top grade hardware. Solid rear pod action feel. Can't wait to get it on the track this weekend!

Which bodies are people using for the DB10R that give the best handling? Your views appreciated - it's getting time to lay down the plastic on one of these cars!!

I know the Protoform and HPI vettes are popular. I plant to run one of those or the HPI Trans Am. Any updates on the lipo plates or the bumper?

I really like the HPI C6 corvette body.

Lipo plates should be ready in about 2-3 weeks.

Thanks for the update on the trays Jason. That should be perfect timing for me. I am going to run my car with 4 cell for a while first and see how that goes. What abut the bumpers? I know I will need that right away.

I will be working on having bumpers made shortly. For the time being, I am using a Mi2 P dub bumper and it is a perfect fit with no mods.

Race Update:

The DB10R lights up the field down here in florida taking the win and posting the fastest laps even over the wide cars. The DB10R at 200mm was .1-.2 faster per lap than the wide cars with both drivers being top notch. We ran 13.5 brushless with 4 cell and the cars were amazing. They were fast and handled amazing. The DB10R really shined today as did the DB12R. We went up against the best of the best and finished very well with Leon winning 1/10th pan and finishing 2nd in 1/12th and i finished 3rd. Leon hands down was the fastest car on the track in both classes but ran into traffic issues in 1/12th that cost him the win. Congrats to everyone down here today with a great performance and as always great company.

I saw that. I couldnt believe how much faster your lap times were. And all i have been hearing is the wide cars are faster than the narrow cars. I guess the chassis layout and car design outworked a wide stance in this case

I really liked the 13.5/4 cell combo for carpet. The 13.5 WGT cars were faster than the 10.5 TC's with 6 cells for lap times. I think this class is going to work out great for IIC,Cleveland and Snowbirds with this combo.

What is the suggested ride height on these? We race on a outdoor permanent track, a bit bumpy and med bite, using BSR tires.
