everybody should intentionally hit all the cars with lightweight bodies and cause them to tuck, after a short time nobody will run a thin body because they know they are going to get hit, Then, the problem will no longer exist.

(let the race director call the stop and go's)

I can do this!! Let me know when to start!!! I am extremely talented at hitting all boards, pipes, cars, corner marshals, and all other stationary or moving objects on the track.

10 seconds ?!?!? Most indoor tracks I've been to have average lap times of less than 10 seconds. 3rd place would have passed you by then.

In my opinion it depends on if you want to race, or if you want to win. It's his problem if he chose to not trim his body properly to prevent tucking. If you want to race, stop (or slow down) until he catches back up. If you want to win, keep on going. This shouldn't be an ethics arguement, rubbing is racing. Now, if you intentionally punted him into the boards then you should be black-flagged for unsportsmanlike behavior.

one big questions... How the hell do you tell what body he's running on track!

IMO, it requires discrestion on your behalf.... if it's a little love tap, than rubbings racing. If it's a take out (whether intentional or on purpose), you wait.

The type of body you run shouldn't come into it....

Ed
The body does not matter. And even it did no one would know till after the race. Just respect for one another. And some sportsmanship.
If your racing race. But running off with the race is another thing.

Yeah, I know but it's an awesome photo and seemed apt for this thread.

At least he pulled over and let you catch up. Oh, wait a sec....
