Angry Team Orion Orbital Problem!!!!!

I just got this motor 10 days ago and i had to replace brushes yesterday, i did and bought the Orion 41005 brushes but now my motor is not even half of power that it was before. Timing is ok, coom is trued, brushes are broke in, i really dont know whats going on, by the way the motor now overheats really bad so please somebody give me a hand with this problem my setup is the next one :

3000 mah NImh Battery

Check the comm is shimmed correctly and not wedged in the can, also make sure none of the bearings are siezed. Give everything a good clean with motor spray and re-lube the bearings. If that fails you should get someone to have a look at it for you.

I would double check the timing if you had the endbell off; it's really easy to put it on backwards, or really advanced or really retarded timing, depending on which notches on the can/endbell you're looking at.

I know, really old thread... but does this motor use stand up or lay down brushes. from the pictures it looks like lay down?
