Not to be too realistic, but...

There has been a massive issue with the internet for a large part of Asia, etc. and it has a subtle ripple effect at random times as internet traffic is redirected around the outages...

You already have the explanation -> vBulletin. Ive been on lots of vBulletin sites and all the ones that get a good amount of traffic struggle with performance like this. Its a fact.

I was suffering the same slow response.

Just noticed that the website wanted me to perform a log-in.

After logging in with my old name and password, things might be better.

There are so many "causes" happening all at once...

The first is that RCTech has pretty much exploded ( in a good way! ) traffic wise. More people are constantly returning to RCTech each and every day. From the sounds of things, we're starting to outgrow the current server. Internet Brands has bought out RCTech - but we are still running off the same server until they fully take over.

....then toss in the whole "under sea" cable going bad, several countries losing internet for possibly weeks. It could be worse, and I don't doubt that re-routing some of that traffic might also have an effect on some of you.

Hang in there. It'll speed up soon.

For future concerns about RCTech's status, downtime, speed, ect - Take a peek over to the "RCTech Site Forum" This issue has already been discussed there for a few days.
