It's supposed to be because of the shortage of the chemical sorexsomethinorother so they can no longer make the tires. I heard that Sorex themselves have a large supply of it but eventually something will have to change in the chemical makeup of rubber tires.

Maybe this will put an end to the Rubber vs foam debates because there won't be any rubber tyres in the near future?

If its due to a shortage of achemical for manufacturing the rubber then dont be surprised it can effect foams as they made of rubber as well.
Am sure its just a short term issue.

Once upon a time it was how can I get my cells to last, now its how long can I get my tyres to last...

Saying that i've got on well with the sorex 24 premounted this winter so at least they'll be ok, shame the cs22 will be no more though if its true, theyre pretty good too, as long as they dont go off after 4 minutes

I was using Muchmore tyres the last time and I am very statisfied with them. However the RP tyres were a good choice for practising.

If you noticed MuchMore released a new tire last year called the "SWEEP". It's made using the new process/chemicals due to the old chemicals no longer being available in the near future. There is an alternative, just depends if all the companys switch over.

Take off lost the handout tire business in the US. And that really hurt. So it doesnt suprise me that they shut down. They werent the handout tire really in any other country that I know of.
