I have one more brand new set as well. I was holding them until the next big race. What day is the Revo race and is it @ Ripon? I knew about the Roar Regionals there later in October but somehow missed info on this one. I'm bummed I can't make either the KO @ SWR or the Regionals due to other plans...

Next weekend 9/13/[email protected] Ripon. Ruben didn't really promote this race all that well so it's just gonna be mostly locals.

Great! Wondering if it will be during the evening like most of their weekly races. I should be able to make this one! I looked on his site and all over rcracing but found no information on the Revo.

Sorry for the topic derail all...back to tires! I was just in my LHS and he has some of the new RPs ordered and said he's getting 36s and 30s wonce they hit the states and clear customs!

To give you guys a little update on the "so called 1 run tires"( RP30's)

Yes after 1 run they look like they are shreaded and have no life left, well i ve been testing that tire lately and now I have over 7 runs (in mod)and they are getting even better than when I took them out of the package. Today the track temperature was over 130 degrees and the RP36's were not gripping at all. I took the RP30's sauce them up and hit the track and the car was on rails!. It seems that the tires have 2 layers of rubber you have to get past the look of the tire after the 1st run and you will find the grip. If you guys have some RP 30s that you think are done after 1 run, by all means send them to me

i heard they were having wearing problems. rp30s are so fast at our track. the jacos when you're off the groove loose traction too quickly. and running 17.5 on carpet the tires last a week and rip. people have been using rp30s for a full year.

I've been running RP30's, CS 27's and RP 36's in the blistering Florida heat with no wear issues.

Are they the old rubber formula that they were using couple of years ago. I read somewhere they change it. I still have a couple sets of 3 year old cs27 that I treasure.

You can also go to www.sj-rracing.com or www.sorexusa.com. websits. Please look up the dealer locator to find a shop near you if you like.

Thanks Billy
