Default 2008 BRCA (UK) Cell List

Hi everyone

Today the 2008 BRCA (UK) Cell list came out. Check it out at www.centralbooking.org

Interesting for (at least) 2 reasons.....

1) Quite probably going to be identical to the list allowed by EFRA (european federation)..... and "maybe" even IFMAR for the 2008 TC/12th Worlds

2) A number of new cells on there - including new versions of the IB4200 and IB4600, and some new ones from LRP/Nosram Vtec.

Will be interesting to see what people choose to go for this year now.

Every cell is legal. What happened to the length problem? Have they all produced a shorter cell ... I doubt it. Maybe just a good hammer

Not every cell is on the list. What about GP4600, and the much-more 4500. Also if you look the 2007 and previous spec cells from East Power and Intellect are not legal, so that rules out those who try and make their cells last more than 1 season.

Quite, the devil is in the details....

IB's are legal, but need the gold/white (rather than silver white) lettering... indicating the new (shorter?) cell.
Same for the EP's, as they have to have the ***08*** designation (rather than MI or MII).

Plus the now all meet the spec of no greater than 43mm regardless.

All of the EnerG cells are less than 43mm in length.
