Some club that runs nitro has exclusive rights to the use of a particular track. When they were approached with the idea of letting electric run to spread the hobby, the reply was "electric is way too slow compared to nitro". Sure they have a 200'+ straight away, but I don't think electric is "slow" by any means...

Yes, Electric does hold the fastest mph at the speed run challenge and holds the fastest E.T's in r/c dragracing too, but diehard nitro fans fail to realize electric is faster than nitro. Guy's watch how crazy this thread can get. The last nitro vs. electric thread got closed because it just got too crazy in there... Threads like this one could be never ending and can get out of control. Good Luck and beware of them nitro die hards, man them guy's could start up some ish... Take Care...
