In 12th and 1/10 sedan what has the edge 17.5 or Brushed stock.

That's a top heavy question. Road course, oval or drag racing? Short, medium or large track? Tight and twisty or open and flowing track? Lipo or Nimh?

the 17.5 for on road compared to a 27T is close... for off road, not so much... you'll have more rip in the corners in off road but the 27T will hands down get ya on the straight.

Bump.... anyone running 17.5 brushless against stock brushed want to comment now that 17.5 is Roar Stock.

I don't know if this helps but the 17.5 runs almost as good as the 13.5 when geared right and timed correctly. Brushed stock has all but died at my track, but it is a viable option to say the least. I personally thing the 17.5 is faster.

I guess to take this one step further...who else besides Novak make the 17.5 bl motor and what manufacturer would you guys recommend if it is not dictated by any other rules with the exception that it has to be a 17.5 bl motor.
