Im goint to keep an eye on how the GT10 and Pro10 classes go here over the next few months but I definitely have an idea that I think everybody could get behind with brushless and LiPo becoming the power of choice for many (although NiMH will have a place as well). Its a little something I had thought up a few years ago but the idea never got off the ground.

Well I feel by mid summer all the cars will be out if not before, Most will have a kit to go from 200mm to Old Pro10 235mm or 235mm to GT10 200mm and from there is where I want to see how this all works out,

We have a set of rules up on our website, and for the most part it will stay like that.

Looks pretty good CC. What I would like to do is more like a special event. Its an idea I spawned in my head a few years ago but I never really was able to make happen so I put it on hold. I would like to try it again.

I called it the RC Endurance Festival. Basically its three days of nothing but endurance races for an assortment of classes from Pro10 to GT10 to touring cars electric and nitro.

Keep the width 200mm.
I was watching a Nitro race today and the 1/8 cars look too much like a slot car with the wider stance.

The 200mm sedans looked and acted like a real car compared to the 1/8th cars.

Keep that in mind, you want the cars to look and act like the real thing and making the width widers like the old standard of 235 will just make hte cars look unatural.

Well I Want the 200mm format this is what everyone is making, and it is what we have been working on for over a year, But I will not say as a Manufacturer of these Cars that there will be no 235mm Chassis or cars, we will offer a upgrade kit much like the way CRC will do it as well I would think.
There is no reason not to offer this to the guy's that have been running 235mm and never stopped.

I do not see a problem with 10th scale going in the 200mm direction. I think that there is still a place for 235mm cars and racing (I mentioned the RC Endurance Festival idea a couple posts ago) but I have no problem with things working out the way they have.

Pretty good Article on this class! I love the idea of running 4cells! Of course rumor has it that Team Associated and Tamiya will be build a Pro10 Car.
I hope to see a racing class at one of the Wisconsin tracks???

We are not sure exactly what we need roll out wise for these motors. Everyone (CRC, Speed Merchant, BMI, etc.) have been testing 4 cell only in the US.

FYI, We tested 13.5 4 cell Sunday and ran a roll out of ~80mm. We were turning high 11's consistently. The fastest 6 cell 10.5 sedan turned one 11.9 once.

I took over MLP Motorsports, as of Jan 1 2008,

I have been testing his Viper Chassis for over 14 months I feel We now have what we need to move forward with our X10 Viper Chassis. 200mm and a upgrade kit for 235mm info can still be found at www.mlpmotorsports.net But like I said before I don't want to take a bashing on here I am a racer first and formost and this is why I am here, to see if this class will take off and add my own 2cents from time to time,

So if you have any questions about the pro 10 cars ask them if you have question on me CLC Racing Concepts pm or email me ok. If you need to talk with Marty email him ok.

Thanks

C.C.
