I have a problem with my pancar front end chattering very badly when i'm turning at any kind of speed. This results in massive understeer

Does anyone happen to a clue on the likely cause of this?

I sometimes associate wheel chatter as improper ackerman.

Is your ackerman correct. Maybe you have your links wierd on the saver or the steering knuckle.

Recently I started a home made Pro10 project and it is near finished now... I have tested it already and it runs good on the track. I didn't try to invent a new concept, instead I went fot an excisting concept that has proven itself already by Associated. A lot of parts came from my RC12L4 and some parts of an old school RC10L. It has a fiberglass chassis plate of 3mm. that will be replaced by a 2,5mm Carbon Fiber chassis in the near future. Also the rear axle will be replaced for an IRS rear axle.

The things that we made ourself are the main chassis, lower & upper pod plate, cross brace and T-bar. Al of the other parts and hardware are from the two Associated cars. Except for the tube dampers, they are from CRC. The body is a Corally Nissan that I had already and will also be replaced with a Protoform Peugeut 905B...

Bob,
Thanks for asking. The MAX10 was originally intended to be an upgrade/replacement for the AE 10L2 and is 235mm. The parts that we offer are the chassis, bottom pod plate, top pod plate and chassis brace. You can use our parts to update an existing car or build a new car from the ground up.

Hey Taz, I am from the Netherlands (Europe) and I almost only drive it at the MACH circuit in Heemstede... It is not likely that I will drive it in the US...
