jrrc! 2 to 3 runs on a set of the new RP-30's?!?!?!? I wished! I have not made a full 5 mins. with the new RP-30's let alone 2 or 3 runs. Foam tires are much, MUCH less expensive to run.

We tried racing F103GTs last year and compared them to TCs and wide and narrow pan cars. The Tamiya F103GTs suck with rubber tires and anything higher than 8.5 BL motors...they are very good with 5.5 motors and nitro foams. They worked nicely and were very competitive against touring cars...good speeds and decent handling. THe Pan cars were much better handling wise and a bit faster.

Those F103GTs are very well made, to my surprise. Diff is pretty cool. They have lots of upgrades also. Very versatile.

Now that Jason is making his car better for Lipos, I think I'll go with his car. It'll be out in 2 weeks or so...cant wait.

I'll be slapping the 10.5 and Lipos and will order my foams from Superiors once the car gets here.

The F103GT w/ 5.5 ooooh yeah. Once we got bored with that, we upgraded to 3.5s They're pretty cool cars, but the pan cars now a step ahead in suspension and handling, and just faster.

Serpent S400, you need?

I just dusted the cob webs off of my B4 2 weeks ago for the state race at
B and B hobbies. I wish i would have been prepared and rebuilt the shocks and got some practice. After not running it for a year and a half and no practice, i managed to stick it 4th or 5th in the A maing before we got rained out. I got it pretty good for the main but we didnt get to run. I think i could have got a 1-3 finish. The car just works.

2wd buggy is alot of fun. Its probably the best practice you can get. It is by far the most difficult class in racing i have ever done.

I ran mine for the first time this past weekend, For the first time out, the car seemed pretty good. I did not have my modified Corally C10X to compair, but based on the lap times, it is not far off. Ran Lipo, 19 turn, but will go to the 10.5 brushless for this weekend.

Let me know what you think when you get it out.
