hi, im planning to get the CRC X10 soon, but wanted to know whats the common parts that get replaced from crashing, etc. im guessing buy some extra suspension arms?
i would like to order it all together ahead of time.
please list parts # numbers if possible.

i am runnig the new crc 1/12 wire on my rs speedo i have never gotten more then two lights for speedo temp and i was not lacking hp. as for corvette to the new one the new body have a lot more turn in compared to the corvette

I'll tell you, that new crc foam bumper has helped. Instead of breaking in one shot, it took 3 good hits before my third bumper gave. So yea highly recommend the foam bumper.

Take a bit of time to think...It's the weekend; and, most people I know are out racing. Just got home.

Yes...To me, any 1/10th scale pan car setup for 200mm looks silly with a 235mm body.

the wide body will look funny on the narrow car. It will work OK. The 24 hour enduro championship run was actually with a Pantoura (narrow) and wide Associated Nissan body indoors.

Afix your foam bumper like the pic and quit breaking that expensive graphite one.

For Spares – Just some minor plastic parts, front arms (#3247), Steering blocks (#3251), side links (#1380) and a graphite bumper (*1757)

For Options - All you need to get is the optional foam front bumper (#1759), tuning springs and damper fluids are good too.

It will look a bit awkward. Adding the expansion kit (#1711) to the Gen-X 10 will allow you to take advantage of the increased performance the 235 mm body will give you.

Got the car built, wired up and finished. Impressions of the build:

-Waaaaay too many different hex head sizes required for my taste.. If I can build my Tamiya 4wd sedan with a 2mm driver for all the car screws and a 2.5mm driver just for the motor screws, theres no reason I should have to have 3-4 drivers and a super micro sized allen wrench around just to build a pan car.
-Couple missing items from my kit. One FH red screw for the rear pod and the lower rubber seal for the losi shock.
-More shims should have been included for the front wheels. Awful lot of play side to side there.
-I know that its not a traditional thing to do with pan cars, but the car really should come with the new foam bumper.
-Some of the screws didn't exactly thread perfectly into the aluminum parts. And because it aluminum into aluminum, your afraid to really crank them. This occured primarily when installing the top plate onto the rear alum motor mount, but also occured at other times.
-Where the heck were the set up instructions? The manual kept saying "just get it close, we'll set that later", but then you get to the end of the manual, and theres nothing there but the parts listing???

Other than that, it was a cool build. The diff was prefect without any ring sanding or any special tricks to smooth it out. Man, I need some of these bearings for my other cars. You can spin those front wheels and they'll just go forever. And the car looks amazing with the graphite pattern Jaco spec foams mounted up.

Overall, great looking kit, can't wait to get it out and try it.
