Gettin' there...
X-10 car is about 50% built...Now that I have progressed to the front end of the car, I sure could use some help with an asphalt setup.
Definitely getting the new bumper. Any other suggestions for support parts.
What is the weight of the Losi shock spring in the kit? Seems very stiff for asphalt.
Thanks.

I second the body. If you are going to be running fast motor and big track, a high down force body is called for. I tried the Saleen and Corvette at a big track and don't work for me. Put a lola body on it and big difference. Good luck on your build.
The two kits I bought had a little sticker in the shock bag parts for the spring weight. one was 30 and one was 25 I soon replace the 30 with a 25 also with this car the body has a lot to do with how the car will handle. If your going to run a lipo and a 10.5 you will need a body with a lot of down force like the 200mm lola or in 235mm the The Protoform “P905B. I found that for me a 13.5 and a lipo works better then the 10.5 as I can handle the speed. also make sure you sand the bumper edge then seal it with CA it will help it hold together when you hit the dots.

My kit came with those two stickers too. They all say "30"; so, that must be it. I forgot that was how my JRXS springs were labeled a couple years back.
I plan to run an SMC 5000 lipo and a 13.5 BL motor. Meets the requirements for a local race series. Fast enough.
Did already buy the new Protoform Alfa GT body.
Was hoping a Futaba 9551 servo would fit...But won't. Any votes for best smaller servo to use:
Futaba 9650
KO 949
Airtronics 94141/94145
JR 3550/3650
Thanks.
