man it's hard to search for 1s, lol

please help me get a starting point for rollout:

thunder power 1s 40c

tekin rs pro w/198 for now

novak boost thingy

epic duo 13.5 (or duo2 if that's better)

asphalt two tracks but around 100' straight(Ripon and Speedworld)

I found 70mm search, that seem about right?

That should be a good starting point. I was running 81mm rollout and about 115 feet. This weekend gonna try the 200, dont know where ill be.

For the Top Gun event at NorCal, we had 13 WGT/13.5/1S entries. I was originally running mine on the asphalt; but, have now converted it over to carpet (for the IIC). On the rug, it carries speed really well...and is easy to drive fast. It is da bomb when you carve the corners!

Recently picked up a second CRC chassis...I like this class.

CRC rules here too! With the rules originally being in flux, the Gen-X 10 hit the mark for versatility no matter what happened.

Mine is converted to 13.5/1S per ROAR/IIC rules now. Still havin' fun with it in its lower powered configuration.

Finally found the fault in the car that has bugged me the last 4 meetings, and was only found today as I put the car under stress in my hands.
The plate from the shock to the motor pod has a splinter crack in it, and only showed under load, hence the rear end doing odd things.
replaced the part and put the car on pole, and then won the final.
HAPPY DAYS RETURNS

Take that broken 2mm thick plate and glue a new one to the top of it for a failsafe setup. Use longer screws into the motor mount. CRC now makes a new pod top plate that is 4mm thick.
