Default Trinity DUO 10.5 BL motor

At the recent FSEARA race held at PNP, I was told by one the racers that some where using the new Trinity DUO 10.5 BL motors and they did very well. They were very fast and ran smoothly...thinking about getting one of these, so if you've tested them or seen your buddies run them and liked their performance, them please let me know...

What about Trinity customer service? Is it true their now with Xray? I dont want crappy customer service...Xray is pretty good with cs, but I dont know anything about Trinity and their customer service, but I assumed their very good as well...

I have the 13.5 duo and It is not fast at all. It came in a pretty wooden box, and that made me wonder right from the get go if it is any good. I have ran it for 10 packs and tried all kinds of gear and it can run with the other motors, but not as fast. I dropped .2sec a lap by switching to lrp. I even messaged dieter on it and he wouldn't reply back, so they must know they suck.

I have been running a 10.5 Duo for the last couple weekends and love it! the power is so close to the same as the Komodo that you cant even see the differance in the lap times and I even had a few questions about it so I e-mailed trinity and had a responce back in less than 2 hours! Maybe I just got lucky????

Maybe I should of contacted trinity direct, but anyways unless there is a sintered rotor upgrade I think this would only be a decent 1/12th scale motor, not enough torque for a sedan.

if these are the motors that you have to run then I wouldn't worry about a sponsorship. just an fyi on the 13.5 you can take off the endbell and twist the sensor board to increase timing, it is kinda crude but it did help. But the motors are still wayyyy slow, Come on trinity get us some sintered rotors so these motors can run.

Don't all 3 originate from the same OEM source. So why are Trinity so much slower? I've used the SP 13.5 (1/12 4-cell) and it is faster than the Novak pro 13.5. I've been thinking of getting the Trinity to replace the Novaks due to the removable harness.?
