I was going by what pucho said earlier today, I was not there to personally see it.

Matt: Just trying to get all the facts.

It's hard to believe that ROAR would run into these same complaints at two consecutive Nationals-level races. I was surprised myself at the relative lack of Tech at the Carpet Nats. The "random motor inspections" were a joke and usually came out of cars in the lower mains. Another point was the drivers standing on things on the drivers stand to get a height advantage -- someone mentioned that happened again, same as it did at the Carpet Nats. Grown men, 6 feet tall, standing on a barrel! haha

Another interesting point: I attended the NORRCA Carpet Nats a month after the ROAR race, and man, they got it right. No goofy qual-points system, real tech inspections, and the NORRCA president was on hand for the entire event, start to finish.

Should ROAR take a page out of NORRCA's book? heh

David Juns car in the pits. Didn't get a good pic of his fan ducting. It was cool. Just too bad the gears messed up alot in the mains. Damn weak Evo gears. Fernando's car sounded like the gears gave in a couple times too.

Cool assasin

yes guys the corally team was there using the new prototypes.
and it really doesnt matter how much better can a car be if it actuallyruns at the same pace and lap times a the other cars. i qualified 9th on the grid in 1/10thb main stock with a tc3 and race at home with rob micheals and michle bruce and can hang with them. there are other issusese to woory about than these two cars! so what did they win stock? no! and the bitchin about the event needs to stop we all raced with the same track conditions. the best man won! i do agree the points system sucked but istill would have been in the b main only two spots higher with the old system but we like the way it used to be.something needs to be done with roar because i am starting to see trend for none roar sanctioned events growing! wake up roar.
also the fact 27 turn stock motors are lame and need need to move up to a 19 turn motor as a stock motor especially a track that size i fell asleep down the molson straight (dont know if spelled it corectly)
there should be a roar rule on track size for electric racing. and by the way don hill did a fine job with what he had to work with. he has more ambition than a lot of track people out by at least trying.

If stock is too slow for you then run mod. Stock is "supposed" to be for beginners and the sportsman drivers that can't handle a mod. I think it's funny to see all the 50% sponsored guys running stock at the nationals.

Default to slow

no stock is slow and some people no that they cant run in mod against factory drivers because it cost to much to do and 19 turn is fast enough to get you in trouble. maybe you cant hang and wont admitt it

i didnt miss the point we know its wrong to run something not available to everybody but if iam not mistaken at colorado nats i was ther and losi ran alfa bodys not available to everybody and that didnit stop them the problem isnt corally its roar and the TECH PEOPLE at these races that are supose to know and that is the reason the majority of roar members are getting tire of roar
