LRP automatic bullet. no setup, no motor limit, low price. but it does have reverse. not a problem for me, but some tracks don't allow it.

I've got 9-10 KO VFS-1's at varying levels of "new" (Pro, Comp, Comp II). The Hara Twister is based on these. Excellent esc's. Not sure if KO USA services the Hara units or not...probably worth checking. I've never had a KO esc fail here yet (one reason I put 'em in everything I race) but I did buy a used unit in which the brake FETs were blown. The service provided was EXCELLENT.

hth,

If you're looking at the KO VFS-1 / Hara Twister line, you also need to know that they require an external setting adapter or a computer and cable to make any adjustments to the speedo. The twister comes with a modified setup installed and if you don't have the setting adapter, your car (with stock) will be very flat. Great speed controls though, once you learn how to adjust them.

Oh yeah. Tekin FX pro.

Default esc

Im wondering why does ATSUSHI HARA don't use his own line of ESC instead he uses a NOSRAM speedo in the other hand RHEINARD still uses the HARA TWISTER 2.2. and do great in races!

thats good that KO services them, but how is the stock setup, it says its the one Hara uses, but not everyones hara, lol. I usually like a normal setup, 100% throttle, 100% brake, but if i want to change anything, where can i ge tthe wire, and where would i plug it in to the esc, because i dont see any usb, like on the mamba max.

Instead of plugging the speedo into the receiver, you plug it into the setting adapter. It's not that hard to use, but it can be a little overwhelming when you first start using it. Hara's settings are for mod. The frequencies are set to deal with the demand of a mod motor and will not give you the punch that you need for stock. If you ran his settings with a stock motor, it would feel like your battery was dumping.

hm, thats not good. how much is this wire, and where can i get it? I really want a smaller esc, because on a 12th, you dont have that much room. the Tekin looks good, and small, but im not sure about its pricing. oh, and what are FET's?

i never saw hara use the nosram, only the LRP lately, since he was testing checkpoint's brushless, but from what i remember, he was still using the twister. I like Marc Rheinard better than hara, too bad he doesnt have his own esc, lol

IIRC, the Tekin sells for around $160 on Tower Hobbies.
