Right on Ritchie....I'm a man of my word....you got a freebie coming...remember??

Undecided still on what to put on them or to leave blank. Blank will surely be an option, then someone can add carbon with polished stainless highlighted, their own emblem, eat rubber engraving....what have you I'll get around to decal options after I get these machined and polished, thats the easy part...there already out there, and anything on polished stainless looks awesome.

Engraving ideas are welcome!!

I will need to work with some "volunteers" on different cells and cars. I used the Trakpower 4900 and its very simular to the Kokam and Core's footprint ...but other cells I cant speak for until we compile a "compatibility list". I dont want to put people thru the return doesn't fit.

To those wondering my background...I've been machining 25+ years and have had a side business for 4 years as a side hobby, just not RC stuff till now.

Here is my home site it will go on...look at some of the work and most important customer feedback speaks for itself.

You really have a nice opportunity. I can see custom bulkheads and other nice pieces. I am impressed...really.

Oh....Ya!!! Dogs got his fingers in everything!!

Flew to San Jose in the am and 23 hours later had the 69 Mach 1 in the driveway...tired and pumped!!

That pic with Rainier was taken 5 miles from my house...awesome scenery we have here huh!?!?

Thank you Pete...and everyone else for the support...that is the fun in doing stuff like this.

I'll be there for Friday racing Pete, and hope to have the first "limited run" done then, but for sure the first 2 protypes will be getting further "impact tests. I now say limited because I heavily under estimated the responce. If this gets too big I may have to have Seattle International Raceway be the distributor as they have already offered....time to ship all these will eat up my time....time I could be racing or building more.

Pete...the Orion 3600 weighs 7.7 oz and this is weighted for Trackpower, Core, Kokam at 9.5 oz. My second optional weight that can be customized and consealed up to 1.75 additional oz. will get you right there. Those I may try to sneak 2 to test in tomarrow eve. but its going to be a late nighter since this is after my 8 for 8 job....we'll see.

Think you just beat all the big battery players to the punch....
Way to go... think if you create a few types for the latest cars on the market..
You'll be supporting you're hobby habit for quite sometime.

Way to go....great idea. simple, nicely made and bling....

I wouldn't have a prob taking a few.

Any chance of doing it in just a 5 cell configuration and still get the weight right? Just thought that it wouold be nice to be able to move the weight forward or backwards, in the chassis. Kind of like in a 12th scale how moving the batteries in the chassis changes the weight balence and transfer. Just a thought, So you are gonna fill local orders first right?
