Really though. I have some blanks coming that you can add your own emblem / decals on, should be done by Thursday...posssibly sooner. I cant possibly engrave all the different manufacturers as you know. There has to be some good sticker sheets out there that can do the custom job aren't there?

JB have you tried the inserts or base plate to see if either will clear without moding the bulkheads like Ritchie did??
I did but didn't want to mod my bulkheads. What worked for me though is just using (2) of your 'insert-less' side pieces on both sides of the case, and that happened to match my electronics side perfectly
I will take 4 of the blank 'insert-less' sidebars

Never did ask Verndog, how does the side plate attach? Does it attach to base plate? May have been answered already but didn't bother to look

Really though...send me an email, and I'll have to get a shipping estimate. I'm trying to keep in US..but Canada should be no big.

[email protected]

Ritchie....it will take less weight to keep it outside...I recommend to try that, and the 1.2oz base inserts right on the Core. Am I gunna have to come over and do this myself!!??

Now...engrave with what again?? You talking about a vibro type engraver??

3 small strips servo tape at each end and center of battery, direct to the battery. Use much more and you'll have a hard time removing it someday.

Not familiar with that type, I'm, actually doing a high speed rotary engrave on these with a CNC mill. But, they prob. have something like a "dot peen" type engraver that "pounds a series" of dots so small you cant hardly tell. If so yes, that will work fine. The series stainless I'm using is pretty machinable, but tolerant to corrosion.

Or we can skim .005 from it to clean up again then add 1/4oz to the channel to make the weight back.

Default Lipo mounts in stock at SIR?

Hi Verndog, Considering going to Lipo, are the TC5 mounts available at SIR or should I order through your site? Thanks-Alvin

I am not sure if I need to go with the stainless steel inserts or if I can use this or not. Any advice before I put in my order?
Hey Travis, you need to learn to READ!!! Read my comments just above the pics!!! If you have any questions about the MRE, just ask me.

Oh, and the 4800 will not fit a 415MRE. With or without the plate.

Yes, they have the complete line there at SIR. Price should be very close to the same, difference being tax vs shipping about a wash. Anthony has a spot right behind register for them hanging on the wall, both he and Dan are familiar with them.

These make the switch to LiPo that much easier. I recomend the Trackpower 4900...fit, look, and feel of power are excellent...and they have those also.

This is what I read from you and it said it may cause so I wasn't sure...

This is bad news to hear since I just bought a used MRE (still being shipped) and have 2 Orion 4800's... What lipos fit in that car if any? The 4800's don't seem any bigger then a normal battery pack... Now I don't know what I am going to do.
