I would like to know the answer to that question myself. Can anyone weigh in on the Losi Intelligent LiPo Balance Charger? For $110 you get a charger and balancer, but how quality is it?

Bang for your buck you cannot beat the Duratraxx ICE!!

If you have a T35 or GFX style charger now just do the Lipo update for $50 and you have the ultimate pitspace charger.

Agreed there Tony

I'd also add to the list the full line of Hyperion Chargers (EOS0610I Duo being my favorite)

But they have a 0610I which is DC, and one the AC/DC thats really nice as well

I remember Shawn saying something to the effect of not limiting yourself to JUST CAR chargers. LiPo technology has been in aircraft for years and you cant discount them when making a decision.

I really like this charger. You can balance charge 2 lipo batteries at the same time.

Agreed. The FMA Cellpros are pretty slick Lipo chargers.

Default the best charger?

I think this is another one of those questions that comes down to personel opinion.

But...... since you asked

I currently have the Team Checkpoint 1030 and it is basically a Ice with a few extra features that includes a backlit display.
The carger works great on both NiMh and Lipo but my favorite thing about this charger is it's simplicity.
I have had numerous chargers and this has been the easiest to use while still being extremely versatile.

but as long as you go with a good name and spend a little money you probably can't go wrong, but if I purchased another charger today i would put my money on another checkpoint.

Team Checkpoint 1030. User friendly for both NiMH and LiPo, I can power my lathe with it at 4.8V, I can break in my motor at 3V and I can warm my tyres at 7.2V. Just remember to keep the internal fan on all the time.

Regards

I've been using the MultiPlex for over a year now without any problems. Look and NeXus Racing they have them in stock.
