Metric is a bad thing? 90% of our lives is in metric....I think Losi is the only car company left selling car kits with ASE hardware..

Convert already. It's WAY easier..

I was being a smart a$$. In my walk of life (and am not alone) I didnt start using metric till I started messing with r/c.
My tape measure reads and will always read SAE. My droop and ride hight gauge on the other hand.....

British, actually

(I should put 'Not to be pedantic, but...' however I'm sure you were being a bit tongue-in-cheek )

Anyway, even the British converted the penny farthing and pound to the decimal system in the late 60's. It'll take a bit longer for them to get 'round to metric since they invented the Imperial measurement system and boy do they hate to give up stuff they came up with.

Britain is bizare in that respect -

We buy food in metric (apart fom off a market stall)
petrol in metric but our speedos are in imperial and we work out miles per gallon
we measure small distances in metric (apart from a persons height) and longer distances in imperial
we measure weight in metric but a persons body weight in imperial (but using stones not just pounds)

These are not the official way of measuring things but the way people actually do it.

What else can the government change for us in the UK seeing as we are so messed up already in measures? Currency to the euro?
