Hey Robert,

Hope you had a safe trip home.

As far as I know, we only borrowed your arbor on Friday. After that, I know I personally borrowed Ray Darroch's truer for most of the weekend. Possibly he ended up with your arbor? I'll give Dumas & Darroch a call right now. If they don't have it I'll be happy to buy you a new one.

Take care.-Bruce

i am sure that if i had just won the national championship, a few things may have sliped through the cracks too. cut the guy a little slack, im sure the adrineline is just now slowly strating to drain out of his viens. look at it this way.....even if you never get the arbor back, you can always say he never would have won the nats if it wasn't for you

I kind of shortened the story...The second time United routed me to Chicago, I actually got on the plane as standby...Then, after about fifteen minutes, an announcement was made "Will Mr. Deras please return to the front of the plane with your possessions"...And I got booted off that last chance flight out of Omaha. Then, off to an airport hotel with no luggage to spend the night...Got reminded that airport hotels ain't cheap when you just walk in.

On Saturday, my friends also know that I split my too tight pants volunteering as a turn marshall. Hurried back to the hotel and changed; then tossed them into the hotel trash. Then, on Sunday, I remembered my wedding ring was in the left pocket of the tossed pants...Gone!!!

My wife isn't too happy with me; but, she left on a business trip before I got back. I think I get spanked upon her return...

With no parents home on Tuesday, my barely 16 year old daughter got to drive herself to school. Scary, considering that she has only had her restricted driver's license for all of 10 days.

Did I earn the hard luck award? Was sure it was going to Ray Darroch, but he vindicated himself pretty well on Sunday in 12th SS. Awesome drives Ray!

If you really get spanked then it was all worth it

thanks Bruce I figure they might of fogotten... I didn't get all my stuff packed till 9pm sunday night... I think we were the last ones out.

the first part of the trip was fun monday morning. it rained for Skeens whole stint to St Louis and I think passing the five or six cars and 3 bumpers in the ditch would of slowed him down. but he had the bonnieville cranked to 80+ and I do remember the low trac light coming on at least twice. made for a fun 5 hours. by the time I started driving the sun was coming out. Skeen wasn't amused at all when I pointed that out. I think his hands still had white nuckles when we got out of the car in Nashville

The results of the Nats has been taken down from LiveRC and replaced with the club race results from last night. Can we get the Nats results posted somewhere, either on LiveRC, HobbyPlexraceway.com, or Roarracing.com?

Hi Nash,

I thought you got the arbor back on Saturday. I didnít do anymore 12th tires past then. Like Bruce said, itís possible it ended up in Rayís truer box. I called and left a voice mail with him. Either way, youíll either get yours back, of Bruce will get you a new one.

Thanks for letting us borrow it in the 1st place, and I did say thank you on my Mod sedan sponsor sheet. I canít run your stickers due to contractual obligations. It may seem silly, but itís in my contract.

Last but not least I would like to thank Hobby Plex and ROAR for putting on an excellent race at a great facility. Bruce Carbone and Beavis from SpeedMerchant. My Rev5 got better every run. Donny for making me laugh my ass of. Robby Michaels from Corally USA. Jim Dieter, Ernie Provetti and Trinity Products for the HPís, and Raymond Darroch from Jaco for the very best tires.

Not to be harsh, but there is an attached PDF file of the results near the top of this page..

and I let some local hotshot borrow my 17.5, and I didn't get it back...actually it was my fault as I had to leave right after my 3rd 13.5 rubber main was done. Good seeing you again Matt! I'll shoot you an email with my addy so you can send it back.
