Yeah, we saw that the # of people was going to increase because of so many folks running just one class, so we've been really busy this last week making new pit spaces.

My question is, how many ROAR On Road Nationals over the last few years have sold out?
I think 5 of the last 6 or 4 of the last 5 on-road carpet nationals have been sale outs.
'07 CFX Raceway, MI: Approx. 265
'06 Stockton RC Raceway: approx. 285
'05 Hobby Chamber, Connecticuit: less than 240
'04 The Gate, Cleavland: approx 270
'03 Minesota: approx 250

On-Road Paved
'07 SIR (Seattle Indoor Raceway): approx 140 this was a relocated race.
'06 Speedworld, CA: approx 235
'05 Speedline , FL: Approx 215

I don't recall more than this. On-Road electric is limited by the rules to 250 entries or 25 heats. Anything over that has to be an approved deviation by the Excomm. So you can see that Carpet has been a well attended race. This years race will be the largest this decade/century and possibly the biggest in ROAR history. Thank you to the membership for supporting this as well as any and all of our ROAR National Championships

Wow... why is there hardly any Mod entries? Stock is the majority by far... is that normal with on road racing?

So! If I understand the rules and/or earlier post. The 26th is the cutoff for approved batteries and motors prior to Nationals.
So if it ain't listed by then, it won't be legal including the use of 10.5 in Superstock and any manufacture other than Novak 13.5 or 17.5...CORRECT ?

We need to be able to make definitive plans and not be surprised by some last minute deviation allowing something half the racers don't have.

because mod onroad has become WAY too fast for anyone other than the factory drivers, it's always fun watching them though

This has probably already been answered, but what is the traction compound of choice for this track?

Thanks!

Pretty sure earlier it was stated that Paragon was the only compound permitted.

I take it the Speedpassion motors won't be legal for this race?

I'm trying to figure how I could run a class without buying a lot of new junk.

The Speedpassion thread says their BL motors won't be approved in time for the Carpet Nats.
