Sorry for the delay. Should be available now, a little miscommunication at Comfort Suites has been cleared up.

To all the Brushless manufactures out there:

What's a matter? Why is it Novak and 1 other so far unnamed manufacture are the only ones to submit for approval. I have a brand (supposedly meeting the ROAR specs) that is faster than my Novak and want another 10.5 from some-one who offers a removable harness. I leave for Nationals in 3 1/2 weeks and still have no clue what will be legal! And at that most are unavailable. Perhaps brushless should not be permitted at the carpet Nats since there are not 'readily available'

You all must not think the few hundred racers running carpet are worth bothering with

It would be nice to know what is going to be legal for this race. Maybe ROAR can provide some sort of leniency as they did for the bodies. The new rules are great, but it is getting a little close to the Nationals. I really hope it is not a Novak only race for a number of reasons, but the biggest being availibility...............

Has a price been announced for the handout tires at the race? I don't remember seeing it anywhere...

Also will there be any kind of exchange policy for tires that are glued poorly?

The Plex sells the Jaco Green's for $29.99 at the moment, I'm not sure if they've worked anything out with Jaco to sell them for less or not.

I here that! It would be real nice to know what we need to be buying right now, we only have about 3 weeks left before the race, maybe NO brushless motors allowed at this race would be the best thing!

So punish Novak and the other company that shall remain nameless because others didn't submit a motor for approval yet. That doesn't seem right.

Perhaps miller tyme's comments should be sent to the Manufacturer's and not just posted on a forumn.

Still can't find a Novak 17.5 to buy anywhere, finally borrowed one yesterday, but that still don't fit into the readily available rule. It just doesn't seem fair to allow a new technology that not everyone may have the opportunity to test or even run at the event.

We got in 17.5's a little under two weeks ago. We had them on backorder and they showed up.

If my memory is right, the rule states that a certain # of motors had to be available 2-weeks before the event. I know the Novak 17.5 has been out for a while since the BRL has used them since the start of this season.

Your LHS should be able to get them from Great Planes right now. I just checked inventory and they had some left in stock.

Before this gets out of hand.. you guys need to relax.... Rome wasn't built in a day and this is new technology and new rules and everybody is doing their best to conform and adhere to them......

Motors submitted are Novak, Losi and Hacker so far. Getting stock and super stock motors submitted hasn't been easy for several issues and we are working as fast as we can on all of this.

I know you want to know.. and we want to provide you the most in choices. We did all of this so quick.. and there are going to be glitches....

please be patient. I assure you; you will know exactly what motors are legal no less than 2 weeks to the event as per our rules.
