Did you just ask for the HobbyPlex rate? So far I've talked to two different people and neither have had a clue...

Tim and Alex have been trying to get in touch with their contact and the hotel but that's as much as I know. I know as of yesterday they had no word on what the problem might be. Kinda sounds there is a communication issue at the hotel if someone has gotten the rate and then other desk clerks have no idea about it. I'm sure Tim or Alex will post something when they have some information.

Here's the rule in question:

ROAR Rule 12.4.6.3

Drivers may not use their own stock motors or motor components when the event requires that Handout motors be used. If controlled motor event, Stock participants may use any ROAR approved 27T brushed or 17.5 brushless motors. Super Stock class participants may use any ROAR approved 19T brushed or 10.5 brushless motors. (2009 Super Stock will be 13.5 BL only) All motors must be inspected by the ROAR RMT Technical staff prior to the start of qualifying. Participants will be limited to a maximum of 3 ROAR approved motors. All ROAR stock and super stock motor rules shall apply.

They both are correct. In 2009 Super Stock goes 13.5 bl only. This rule is from the current '08 rules book.

If you have registered for the Carpet Nats and you need to make changes to transponders or frequencies please make them in the on-line reg page instead of emailing them to the ROAR Administrator. THANKS!!!!!!

up to 10.5 along with up to 19T brushed is allowed in Super Stock in 2008.

2009 will be 13.5 ONLY... no brushed.
