Will the CVA Super Mini Shocks need spacers on the inside to use short springs or are they made for the short springs?

Default HobbyWing 13t 3000kv system

So guys tell me more about the hobbywing systems that you use. Are you running stock spur and pinion? How fast do they go? Have you had any problems with the motor or esc? How do you like the program card? Does it mount up ok? etc....

Thanks ahead of time for any help!

This system is perfect for Mini racing

You use the 20t pinion with it .. max out the timing on the program card and away you go. Some guys here have been running their systems for well over two years with no issues whatsoever

As Cannon said the HW is fine. Had mine in for 2 years no probs. The fan doesnt work sometimes but that doesnt seem to matter. I have the ESC stuffed in the rear of an M03 and it copes with the lack of air flow no problems. In Aus we are restricted to the 20t pinion and stock gears for racing. Speed? The good guys can get similar times as 21.5 TC. Program card? Sometimes it doesn't seem to connect but eventually it will and changing settings is simple. The HW works for us as everyone uses the same motor and esc (or the Venom equivalent) with the same gearing and for most racers you never need to replace them as opposed to my 21.5 TC which is on to its 4th motor in 4 months!!!

I decided to try the mini class of racing, found this M05 pro for sale locally. It came with pretty much every single upgrade Tamiya makes, plus alot of extra tires, used and brand new, a new unpainted Fiat Abarth body, ESC, servo, extra motors, lots of spare parts!

It also came with an extra ball diff, is this a TA03 ball differential?
