That sounds like the spot. The threads will go through but it stops at the smooth part of the step screw.
I may have to do that.. Afraid to use a drill thats too big though

Zac if that's what's going on with your steering, wait until tuesday so we can get some proper tools on it! I wanna take a look at your Ta05 too, it seemed kinda noisey and I think I can help you smooth things out if you want.

Tony, working off the rules you posted the bumpers are legal. Was there a change after your post in Nov 2009.

I'll deffinitly bring it! I just tried working at the steering linkage again and I don't see these screws going in without drilling like sosidge said.

I'll try to skip as much steps as I can until then

You can still build the whole car, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. I guess I didn't understand what you were having a problem with, because mine went together without any issues. I wonder if it's because I have the Pro Kit? Do you have all of the electrics that you need?

What ever you don't finish we can do at the track! Also if you don't have any body scissors I have a good pair you can use. I'm going to bring my car, but I really don't need any practice because I'm not going to make the next race on the 18th. So if we're working on your stuff all night, I'm not going to get all butt hurt that I didn't get any track time. Anything to help out a fellow racer

I still have a decent pair of body sissors from when I raced about 5 years ago so hopefully that will get done tomorrow. And I'll get as much done as I can tomorrow. I don't have anything else to do. Thanks, I appreciate the help!
