Went to the hobby shop to buy an F104, but non in stock. My daughter pointed to an Alfa Romeo MiTo... and here it is.

What I like: Official Licensed body, Tamiya TEU 104 esc, cool mag wheels, chrome sticker set and especially the light buckets

Kit came with plastic bushings and friction shocks.

I love the light buckets... allowed me to mount some drift package lights I had laying around.

Here is the test run.

I love Alfas and that car is bad ass, now you just have to finish the paint job (anything but red)

colt1402, I will go racing this Saturday and find out. The Alfa looks like it has a higher front downforce, maybe more steering. The body is long in the front.

M03Racer, it is white and black, like most of my cars. Just need to add detailing (side mirrors, wipers, etc).

At first I did not like the looks of the MiTo, but now it is beginning to grow on me.

If you live in the Chicago area and would like race your Mini, come out to Winfield. We have at least three Tamiya minis. We'd love to have more. Bring out your M03, M04 or M05. Racing is Saturday, weather permitting.

The next batch of Red Dot silver can motors will ship next week (the week of June 20th).

We usually sell out in advance through prepaid orders, so if you want one it's best to act now.

Interested parties should drop me an e-mail at [email protected]

Thanks! Its a white hard plastic ABS body by a British company called Kamtec. Its not a 100% perfect fit because it was designed for the Mardave V12 chassis (160mm width, 205mm wheelbase) but its close enough.

They mainly do bodies that are replicas of the UK Banger Racing (think Folkrace mixed with Destruction Derby ) and Short Oval Hot Rod racing.

Well I finally got the chassis today after two weeks. It was the slowest item ever shipped that I got locally from the bay. I was confused at first cause it looked like an M04 chassis but its a TL-01 so its not an M chassis as the guy advertised it. Its in good shape has ball bearing upgrade, I took it apart the gears look new I just lubed them and cleaned the whole chassis. I got it for twenty bucks including shipping so the price was good, now I'm debating on keeping it or selling it.
