Tamiya mini cooper
Doriftu, I bought the body around 1995, I think it is made by Elite, 210mm wheelbase. Probably no longer in production.

With the impending release of a new breed of FWD touring car chassis, interest seems to be growing regarding racing them at the club where I currently run my M05. The plan is to run FWD TCs to Mini motor rules (Sport Tuned, 17.5 Brushless or Ezrun 3000kv), meaning if there are insufficient numbers for a heat they can run in with Minis (that’s going to be an interesting night!).
I’ve been looking at the Tamiya and TOP offerings but there is also and 3rd way for M05 owners… 3racings 257mm conversion (and TL01 arms).
Can anyone offer any experience or thoughts regarding this conversion?

That's gold!!
Guys, Just want to ask if the shocks that comes with the m05 pro is good (the clear plastic schocks) compared to trf shocks?.. Is there any noticeable in difference? or the plastic clear will do the job? TIA

The clear shocks are rubbish.
It's basically just a question of how long you need to wait until they break. Don't even bother assembling them.

Set-up?
HMMM i am 100% that the instructions say they fit the M05 front AND rear , but the M03 ONLY rear
not bothered but hey , we dont have a TCS here so no rules about this ,
i need some help with my M05 on low/ medium grip asphalt
the car is unstable at high speeds and on corners the rear will step out off power but on power the rear is ok
any one got a good set up for the M05 outside ???

What shock oil, front and rear. What springs front and rear and what spacers inside the shock from front to rear? What ride height, front and rear.
All these settings are critical for the M05 and the M03 on outside asphalt!.
