Default Tamiya Mini bodies

Can somebody list the Tamiya bodies that can fit on the M-05 when its in the medium wheelbase configuration, or a link to a list.

Is the Fiat Abarth a medium or short?

Thanks for any help.

Can you change wheelbase on a standard M05 kit, or is it only on the PRO version that you can do that.

So if I buy the M05 Honda with short wheelbase, can I change that to long (or medium) without needing to buy a sparepart?

Why is it that the M05 Honda is cheeper than the Mini or the Fiat 500, isn't the car exactly the same (except for the bodies)?

Cheers,
Peter

The wheelbase can be changed between L, M & S on the M-05 and M-05 Pro (same chassis)

But thanks for your answer, I know what I'm going to buy then...

Cheers,
Peter

I'm not a retailer so I honestly couldn't tell you why there's a difference in price, as far as I know they all have the same parts and come with an ESC. Perhaps they had better discount for a bigger bulk order of the one kit, maybe there's some kind of licensing fee that varies for different manufacturers bodies.

It might be because of royalties having to be paid to the company design. Fiat might want more money than Honda for their trademark! Or maybe it's a limited Edition so Tamiya has to charge more. Who knows?

The LiPos that fit will have to be shaped like a stick pack. i.e Orion LiPo Rocket packs. Not sure if you'll find any 5000MAh stick pack shaped ones though. If you do, please let me know.

With the speed of the silver can, I doubt it. Not hitting anything and keeping the corner speed up will help more in winning the race.

The only thing I can think of on the body performance is if its top heavy it'll make the car more prone to roll overs.
