Doc,

Any rumors of rule changes if they split the mini class? Like gear ratio.

The MO3 and MO3L are similar but there is a big difference between MO4L and a MO4m in wheel size.

Don't have any more detail than that. No need to restrict the M04's to a 19 tooth pinion if they're only running against each other...

The colors are the different compounds. Which kind depends on the track you run on. Carpet, Asphalt, high bite, etc. Each company varies on the compound colors. A bsr purple can be different than a jaco purple. I honestly wish they were the same. Where did you get the foams for you mini.

the foams are actually from my TC3 , they are only 3mm taller than a standard mini tire , and 2mm narrower .

Okie Dokie what brand are they. Here for the tamiya tires we run m-grip in front & s-grip in the rear. I know only a little about foam tires. Hopefully someone else can shed some better light on this.

I don't have any part numbers , since i bought the tc3 used , the rims are standard touring car size and i don't know much about the foams either . Just go down to you local hobby store and ask them to "true" the foams down to the diameter you want . You could true them down to the same diameter as a standard "mini" tire if you want . I have another set of foams mounted on touring car rims , but they are wider than standard size rims/tires so they wont work on the mini . Tomorow i will get some pics up that shows just how similar the sizes are between the Sgrips and the foams i am running .

So for the TCS races if we can run our MO4L with a 21 tooth pinion it is going to be much faster than the MO4m with the same pinion.

I'm glad I decided to hang onto the two MO4L that I have.

im sure if the different tire sizes are allowed, the gearinf will be adjusted to make it fair.

i do like the rwd, just couldnt hang with 'em on the straights in Memphis with that 19t pinion....

RCBoyz on eBay has most of the hop-up parts. I got mine from him for a few bucks. Drop them an e-mail, I'm sure they will have them for you.
