The bumper plate came also in the TL01B Baja Champ and Baja King buggies and the TL01LA on road kits. Fibrelyte in the UK do a nice carbon version. Also, the l/w TL01 chassis was DEFINATELY lacking any carbon reinforcement (sadly), just thinner ABS plastic - so many were lost to minor impacts when racing.

Now I see it, I’ve actually had a few of those. Not sure where they went. Dang.

M04 swaybars? I’m proud of those.
I’m slapping an 03 right now and I can’t remember which end got the hard springs. A 2 year break from mini has really dulled my instinct.
Found some DCJs with 30mm shafts tonight. These might fit the M03! Removed my cheater gear. (Machined Delrin!)

My old M03 set up was fluro red springs front (soft), grey or purple springs rear (super hard/ultra hard) ... and hard rear sway bar, no front bar.
That was for tarmac, not sure if it will work for indoor carpet.

I remember running that setup on your recommendation. I found it didn’t matter if a sway bar was used or not. The carpet is probably very grooved in, so that might change. I’m set up with short reds and blues right now. Will switch to short extra hard whites of needed and greys from there.
i have to remember how to drive the thing again first.

Guys I'm thinking installing a shorty battery pack in my m05 vii, I have the lightweight aluminum holder (using tape to hold the battery).
Do you have one installed? care to share pics and some wirings?

I ran shorty in mine. Pretty much the same as a full size pack but I only taped one side of the battery opposite to the terminals and shortened the wires as needed

Got it, thanks for taking the time to respond.
Anyone here running their M05 for TCS this year??

I'm sure there will be a few running for the hell of it but it will be a massive disadvantage now that the 2020 rules allow open gearing.

I will be acquiring a M05 in a few days.......For those who have tried a Yeah Racing 38t sealed gear diff, is there any problems using this with stock gears? The stock open diff is 39t, so why is the YR diff one tooth short? In my mind this would be loose, not mesh well, but I don't know. I see they did make a separate 39t gear for this diff sold separately, but seems this has been discontinued. Also the SpecR, and 3 racings diffs seems to be 39t, but those are hard to source now too. Maybe just going with a TA03 ball diff is the way to go...
