They were revised for rally usage. Extra mounting holes for extra ride height and a bit more room for axle articulation. I think they used it in the R spec for the extra axle clearance for the DCJ.

$36.00 shipping. But it's always $30 to $40 shipping from over the water. Puts the kit sub $200. Ordered it anyway.

I don't even want to know what my shipping is going to cost. (EMS Express from Japan to Canada. Kit and a bunch of hop ups.) My order has been split into 4 pieces, based on release dates, too, but I opted for cheaper shipping on smaller stuff.

As for RC Mart, well, I ordered some stuff over 2 months ago and haven't seen it yet. They haven't been as helpful as I'd hoped. Same thing happened last spring when I ordered a bunch of stuff.

Do you mean the Mazda Demio (called a Mazda2 in the UK).

Been available for a little while. Long wheelbase shell.

Everytime I get some money saved up for this dumb hobby I see something that I want and RCMart usually has it in stock, but before I go and place the order I read a horror story such as this and don't order from them! It really makes me wonder how places such as this stay in business! So I take my business else where!

Like Walmart or Costco, it's all about volume. The majority of what I've ordered from them over the years has arrived within 2-3 weeks. Over the past year it's been sketchier. Really, it might not even be their fault, except for cheaping out on shipping methods and not supplying tracking numbers that work outside of China.

your LHS should have them before rcmart. Support your local retailer.

Default Tekin brushed esc reboot?

The mini Tekin has long been my favourite esc for Mchassis racing. Minimal lag and a smooth linear response that is so special for fwd Mini cars. So much so that I eventually owned three.

Only hassle for two of three was where the esc stood for a very long time (over six months), the esc then failed on throttle whilst still supplying receiver/steering servo power.

Just kept on with the one remaining Tekin for my fave car and a Duratrax and Tamiya esc for the other two.

Using one of the spare cars for a three hour enduro Friday and really not enjoying the Duratrax or Tamiya esc but loath to rob the fave car esc.

Given that the Tekin failed only by standing and the laptop connection for the settings is treat, might there be any way of re initialising the Tekin esc's?

Helluva stretch I know but worth a punt.

Cheers
Dave
