Does anyone on here run the Blitz Bodies?
I'm wondering about how durable they are in combat.

They're good, especially the 1.0mil versions. Stronger than Colt, HPI, etc. At least on par with Tamiya's better stuff.

They are great bodies. With a little bit of reinforcement they are indestructible.

I run the Blitz GTi. It's holding up way better than my three other Tamiya CR-X bodies.

RW does the spur. Black Smith Racing made the pinion.

Thanks Guys
Gotta look into two of them for our local beach series, that's not TCS body restrictive
Im tired of getting the Tamiya Bodies beat up in the local races!

The best part is Blitz shells are cheap. Find a good source and they'll come in well under $20 (Canadian!) each. Meanwhile, the Tamiya shell at my LHS...

Yes. $63.99.

That's why I was wondering about their durability
Im getting tired of laying out so much money on the Tamiya Bodies
when we don't need to run them at our local home track.
I don't mind getting them beat up at a TCS Event, but...

since you're all talking about the Blitz shells.. any place other than rcmart.com sell them?

nothing against rcmart, but if i could find them locally (or at least in the USA), I'd be happy

You can try contacting http://www.team-titan.com.tw/ directly. They may require you order some bulk, but it's VERY worthwhile to put together a group buy. I think the US distributor is Desoto racing, but there will be markup.

I like TQRcraing.
I use three hobby shops primarily.

TQRcraing if I need it now
RCmart if I can wait 3 weeks
AMain if I have coupons and the price is right

I like the Tamiya bodies, they offer really nice details (stickers and accessories) that others don't. -but if its for racing then you usually don't need that stuff anyway.
