yea, TCS was in effect.. that car was Eric's car. he won both the first 2 A mains and locked in the win, and was gonna run that with the 3rd, but not everybody wanted him in there with 'em.

i hope we do really get handouts this year... traveled all that way and left our good motors at home...

Hey, has anyone adjusted camber by melting the upper links?

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me what would be the best tire combination and the difference between compounds. The weather would be about 28 degrees celcius outside, not sure what the track temps would be.
Whats the difference between

Type A
Type B
Radial
Super grip radial.

Which would be best to run in conditions mentioned above.

Does anyone also know of a good / cheap online shop that sells m03 spares ?

Thanks

Show me .....

I've been thinking of this....
One tip (with the hole) connect to chassis -> using nuts and bolts
Other tip (screw type) screw to 5 mm ball connector .....-> to upright / hub equipped with ball nuts.

COMPLETELY new to the Mini's--bought an M03 "classic" Mini to run on our medium-grip carpet during breaks, etc. Can someone (or a couple someones) make a tire recommendation? Prefer something that mounts on the Minilite wheels (either reinforced or not).

Many thanks,

Scottrik

akuhon....your idea could work, but also you could attach 5mm balls to the chassis and c-hub and use short turnbukles to adjust camber.

a friend of mine told me that i could also change the camber by melting the upper links in the center. so instead of being straight, they would more V-like. i have not tried it, but i want to.

Scottrik, i have never raced on carpet so i dont know what tire would work. But on asphalt i use Pit-Shimizu slicks on the rear, and Hpi X-type on the front. Handles like it's on rails!

Yes, I know but I run outlaw class ... and use foam-tires... I need extreme chamber angle 'cause the foam tires wear out so fast (the outer part).

For upper link melting, not a good idea 'cause you can't set the camber equally left and right ....

I only need a really small hook to make such turnbuckles.... not lucky so far ...

BTW thanks for the advice.
