Info needed!

What rims are best to use with the HPI x pattern tyres and what inserts do people recommend? Will the HPI tyres fit the mini wheels?

thanks.

Use the HPI rims they are much stronger than any tamiya one's. Hpi also have mini sized molded inserts, but with the belted X patterns I find the foam inserts that come with them work fine.

I would like to know what chassis the winner used...and the 60k question. Did the front drive cars turn quicker laps than the rear drive cars?

Yes, mini was the largest class.

I used the new M-03M chassis.

there where no rear wheel drive mini's.

Hey all you Mini experts out there (you too Doc)

A bunch of guys from Milwaukee are going to run our Mini's in a 4th of July parade. A full size Mini car club approached us to run our RC Mini's with their real cars. We are hoping to get a Schriners type of routine going with our RC Mini's.

The question is what would be a good "simple" set-up for running on a city street? I'm leaning towards my TCS set-up from Memphis.

Thanks in advance to the suggestions.

Steve, I'd suggest S grips and any setup at all. That should work fine on pretty much any kind of paved surface.
