I use the 3Racing oil-diff in my M05, filled with 60,000wt oil, on an indoor carpet track, with no steering/tracking issues at all either on or off power. So I'm thinking that there must be something other than the oil in the diff that is causing your issues Mini35.

I finally got my M05 handling nicer than my M03R but got tired of it diffing out in the slower corners of our indoor track so have put in an oil filled diff with 10,000wt oil in it. It has ruined my car 
. Now under any acceleration it snaps violently to the right and backing off then causes it to lunge to the left so hard it nearly always spins out. Driving along the main straight is like watching an ECG trace on a heart monitor. This must have happened to someone before, so how the hell do you cure it? Was thinking of going to MUCH MUCH thicker oil? I have a hi torque servo saver, alloy servo horn and a very beefy metal geared servo and the Tamiya alloy steering set so I know it's not a weakness in the steering area. Also running TRF mini shocks with blue front and yellow rear springs. Please help before I throw this chassis in the trash and go back to my TT01.

Some photos of the third round of the Madrid Trophy for m-chassis. We have a very open rules championship, open motor, esc, tyres and chassis. In this date we share track with Formula 1 drivers. We were 23 drivers for mini and 16 for F1

My LHS is converting Mini class from silver can to 21.5 Brush-less.
Any recommendations on which other company has a decent 21.5?
I have a Novak 21.5 SS, is there anything better?

Are you going to run with timing on the motor or ESC? If you're planning to run fixed timing, you have a few more choices available.

If it's intended as a blinky or zero timing ESC class, that makes things simple. The motor you've will be fine. Viper makes a good 21.5 motor, as do many others.

I'm really glad they're going with some timing on the motors. 21.5 would be a dog without it in a mini. We run Orca Q Spec systems here, with a 17 turn, 380 motor. Zero timing in both. It's about the same speed as an average silver can and very reliable.

It's been too damn quiet in here lately. Makes me think you guys have been outside enjoying the sun or something.
I don't know if you seen this guy's work, but he is working on a whole new level. Taking 04 to 06 minis and converting them to rear pod type suspensions, kingpin or cammed IFS fronts and in some cases, making them damned near unrecognizable. Cool stuff! This is the only thing I've ever seen that makes me not want to race spec classes anymore.

what is the part number for a set of tfr shocks? this last sunday I was doing some aggressive passing and broke one of my clear plastic one I have on my mo6 pro

The standard TRF dampers are pn 54000. If you're allowed, the current batch of 3Racing ones are quite good and cheaper.

I was looking at the 3racing cite today and saw the there shocks where on back order. does this happen often, or will I have to shell out the money for the tfr shocks ones?

I thought I was save some $$$ when I bought the 3 Racing stuff... big mistake!
Now I'm buying Tamiya shock set.

the clear bodied ones are crap - plastic is brittle...but the mini cva shocks are way better
just another option that would be in the same $$ ballpark as the 3Racings ones

Rear shocks 40wt/yellow springs 3 hole piston
Height: front 5mm rear 6mm
Camber: rear +2
Tow: +1.5
Tires: any combination of S-Grips, Type A/soft and Type A/firm
Drive Train: TA03 Ball Diff, M03 CVDs
Motor: Revtech 17.5/20t pinion
Speedo: Novak Edge
Body: Alfa Romeo Giula (CRX on order)
