Anyone know if the body posts on the tt01 mini conversion line up with an actual mini?

Also, what chassis will the fiat abarth 1000 fit?
I don't know why tamiya put the body on a fwd chassis?
I'd like to fit it on a rwd or awd chassis instead of my fwd.

If you're talking about the 3-Racing conversion, no they don't. They're not far off but it's not a one-to-one match. Also you might find that the conversion length is closer to the M length mini. You can modify the wheel base slightly but when it's really short the front wheels start hitting the chassis when turning. Just need a little adjustment.

I'm new to minis (just grabbed an m03)
I also just ordered an abarth body to go on it, then found that the 1:1 is rwd!
I could live with awd though, too.
When I get the body I'll try lining it up with my tt01 for an idea.

i have trf but for 1/10 touring, not mini T
RF. touring TRF very imited move ment on a mini M..am i wrong to say so?

With 55D tyres the TRF shocks should have OK travel, with 60D tyres you might be a bit limited.

I've put bumpstops on my Mini TRF dampers which makes them the same length as TRFs anyway! I use Sweep tyres which are 55D.

Well, I got the body and it's perfect on my m03, but I'd prefer rwd.
I've been doing some research and it looks like thus body came on the m02 originally.
Also, are the m01 and m02 basically the same, just flipped?
and how hard is it to get parts for them?

An M01 can be made into an M02 and vice versa, it's a 5 minute job.

But...new parts are thin on the ground now as we're talking cars that are over 10 years old.

I've been successful this week! I've removed almost all the newer, blue things from my M-03. I've got the old gold coloured TRF dampers on it, along with the gold steering knuckles. I've returned all upper links to the solid plastic chunks from the kit, Tamiya S-grip pre-mounts all around...it's a thing of beauty and it goes like stink.

Joe, you cant flip an M05, but with a bit of work an M03 is possible.
