If you have fixed timing then people will find ways to "un"fix it

I understand that we have this great class do to the oval guys and for that im thankful. However, the direction that the class has been taking recently (with reedy, orion and the arconite motors) is machine wound, bearings, sometimes fixed timing, and laydown brushes.

It just seems odd that ROAR is not putting rules on an evolving class, they are completely changing its direction.

I saw that Reedy is going to offer a handwound 19t arm for their new motor, it will come with a machine wound arm though.
