Default Motor Question

i was wondering guys, have somebody here have experience with the SPEED GEM PRO Cryptonite Series 9 T motor?, like which gear ratio is the propper for a HPI RS4 RALLY cuz im trying to beat a friend of mine that have a 27 turn motor dyno tuned and he launches faster that me so? any sugestions? thanks guys

id gear a 9t at about 5 to 1.if ur on road.if off road id gear it 6to 1

The original gear ratio that came with the RS4 is a 6.09. You would want to "up the gear ratio" from that to gain acceleration. So try around 6.5 to 7.

You would want to loose teeth to gain acceleration and add teeth to gain top end.
