If you are an experienced driver you could intend just for fun. If you are just started it could be a great learning school

Why make it so specific about the rules you made then say all tamiya hopups allowed.
Why not just say box stock tt02 only

If I wanted to win at any cost I would get every eligible Tamiya hop-up and do extensive back-to-back timed testing beforehand at a similar track to get the best base setup possible.

If I wanted to have fun I would just take a basic car down and run it. The TT-01 handles fine even out of the box, but I would definitely build the car with the aluminium propshaft, bearings, adjustable steering arms and some oil shocks to make everything move freely and have a degree of adjustability for the track.

Default batteries

Guys how about the batteries I think it all comes down to what tamiya battery you would use right?

NIMH
3,600
3,700

NICAD
1,600
2,400

I think with this is important because it is the power source when all things are almost equal (ESC AND KIT)

Default Batteries

I would definitely go with the NIMH 3700's. The increased capacity will give slightly higher voltage as opposed to the 3600's.
