I've had a chance for awhile now to test Exotek's chassis. My car with a shorty pack weighs less than 1300 grams. The car is very fast. I'm looking forward to getting Exotek's shock towers. The rear is designed the way it should be. There is more configurations available for this chassis, than any of you realize with Exotek's design. If you look at Exoteks design, it is head and shoulders above the others in design and quality. Sometimes spending a little more upfront, is better in the long run. I will post pics sometime this weekend of my configuration I'm currently using.

Default VBC Racing

The VBC will be a bigger PIA to change out batteries compared to Exotek...

Default SENSOR WIRE

My ESC although it says it can run sensorless there isn't a setting for it.
either way I moved some things around temporarily and I connected the sensor wire that came with the car. It made all the difference in the world. The car can now crawl around. The only noise is now from the gears but I plan to get some 48P or 64P gears.

Thanks for the help.

Hi All!

Sorry for the confusion- have fixed the pricing. Accidentally included the IFS mounts into the price but of course it is a separate option More details to follow by Monday;

The $135 is great for both parts! I thought it was like $140 PLUS $20 PLUS shipping....

when can I order? and can I order the IFS part with it?

Just finished up building my TA06 Pro, took me about 8hrs. Lots of little plastic parts but not too bad, try building a HPI Baja 5b kit! I like the design, more Mfg's will probably go this route. But its not my first go around with a chassis with the pack down the middle. A few years ago I owned a HPI Pro3 with Hara graphite chassis, and a Losi JRXS type r. I can tell you first hand if I get a graphite chassis for the 06 Pro it must incorporate a battery door. On my Hara chassis you had to remove the top deck to take the battery out along with whatever wiring was in the way, total PITA!! The JRXS was decent but never took off, I think since this is a Tamiya, racers will take the design more seriously and demand innovation from others as well. Can't wait to drive this thing!
