i own and race both a TA06 and 417... but i use them for specific type races... the TA06 is used for the spec TCS/TAC type races where only plastic tub chasis are allowed... the 417 is used to race the big open races (13.5/mod). personally if you want to run with the double deck CF boys, get a double deck CF kit. no point buying a tub chasis kit and upgrading it to compete with the pro-level cars.

Definitely great advice ,I love the 06 and in a B main it can be a contender but in
A main every driver can drive and equipment does matter

I have horrible traction roll. It's only On one hairpin after a chicane that I can speed through . I am running 17.5r 2* rear 2.5 front camber yokomo yellow damper oil.yellows front ,blues in the rear ,stiffest sway in the rear, med up front. I was running ifs until I realized the class has no weight min and tc bodies are allowed with touring wings. I'm going to run upright to save 123 grams and hep with the inconsistency.

Any hints? If I raise the spring rate, it negatively affects my straight line . My speed cannot be rivaled.

Hey Franko, I have a set of these, but I haven't tried them yet, I think they are comperable to the standard Tamiya set, just shorter for more tuning area.

Someone posted saying it is too soft for TC...
Take the stock Tamiya yellow and compare the short yellow and tell me what you find!

I dont think that the issues is softness, its length. They are waaaaayyyy too short. by like 20mm. you need to get the limited "white springs"
