So good to see people trying to bring back 2wd........

Hope in 2008 big manufacturers realize it can be a great market.

Hey Dale,

Here is a pic of our new DB10R 200mm 1/10th pan car with the Corvette body we spoke about today. The car will be ready for release towards the end of february.

jason is the production version going to accept stick packs and lipo? i hope my new 235mm pan car isn't left out in all the renewed interest.. i just built it up for fun but they seem to be catching back on.. i get all kinds of looks when i run it.. they originally died off when cars started running in crummy parking lots, but todays high end tourers are raced on tracks nicer than back in the day and don't like parking lots either... also, the tires last forever even on pavement.. i easily get a couple dozen runs even with whites...

It is going to accept 4 cell stick packs and lipo down the center. The pick of the car was the prototype. The production version is more refined. There is a plate to mount the shock on that allows the lipo to fit underneath it.

With all this talk, I wonder why the F103GT isnt as popular? I have a Saleen S7R that would fit perfectly on mine. BTW, Frewer bodies made the V8 bodies...I think I have one of the Commodores.

Heres an action shot from our last race. It was a ton of fun, almost no maintanance and they handle like a dream. It ran like a big 1/12th car but more smooth. And did i mention the beating they can take

I wonder the same thing. We almost had a F103GT class going here but it never quite materialized. I still plan on building one up...just haven't gotten around to it. That Courage body Tamiya made for it is an absolute work of art!

The Courage body is very nice.

We have about 10 of them on a weekly basis. If is my favorite class.

Part of me wonders if Tamiya has any plans for other bodies for the F103GT besides the Courage...I mean there are plenty of possibilities out there...heck look at the LMES and ALMS series

At one time I thought I saw an Tamiya Audi R10 for the F103GT on their web site. Never saw it again though. Too bad!

They probably had licencing issues with Audi.

Tamiya wouldn't release the body without being able to licence it as an Audi.

One of the local guys makes a Speed 8 body for the 103's in his garage. Looks pretty good all painted up.

Tamiya should extend and liven up the F103 GT kits with the Grand Am cars specifically the Krohn Liveried one
