Default Electric Race Car Hall of fame museum

rebounding on the thread about Kent Clausen insane speed run car found, it could be fun to sum up what would make this virtual "electric Race car hall of fame museum".

Cars and items should be Racing-oriented and have participated in a major race event.
Cars and items should be more than 15 years old (1992 and before).
Cars ad items must illustrate a benchmar or key innovation in rc racing.

Some suggestions..

- The original losi jrx2 prototype from romsey in england (1987) - lots of alum parts and really innovative
- Masamis winning Schumacher Cat from that same worlds
- the 1989 first "stealth" car at the worlds in australia
- the 1991 detroit "Stealth" car and the Losi protos at that same race
- The insane speed run machines from "back then"
- The 4+2 inline pack yokomo chassis from Masami yz-870c
- the AYK radiant of the dunn brothers, last of the chain-driven cars to still manage to compete with the belt cars.. they were super heavily modified and like dinosaurs on steroid (the cars that is..)
- at least a few revtech, checkpoint, Twister, reedy blue dot and pink dot, Kyosho spa motors
- Lavco dischargers, motor checkers

i m sure i m missing some more

My Kyosho TF2-R that took 3rd place in the B main at a local club race here in socal in 1991. I was running a peak performance pink can with SC 1300 batts. Can anyone TOP that? Or was it my RC10L SS I ran at Thunderdrome in 91 and took 7th in the E main The Day Kent went 75.96 mph BTW have no idea what landfill either one my cars ended up in once I found out that girls were way more entertaining than RC Cars. And look were I am at now I have come full circle. lol
Why do people park in a driveway but then drive in a parkway?

Joel "Magic" Johnson's worlds winning Trinity Evolution 10 1/10th pan car.

First Pan car with the battery down the center would have been ideal for todays Lipo batteries.

Hrm... The Tamiya Rough Rider and Sand Scorcher would certainly need to be included. As would some of the old Wen and Jerobee cars, the 12e, 12i, 12L, and 12LW. Those associated cars drove this hobby for a long time. Both 12L frontends are still widely used today in 1/12th scale.

The orginal RC10 which is probably the single most influential car for offroad racing and the offroad side of the hobby into something more serious than some kid messing around in his driveway or backyard.

very good one scrubb, i remember all the oohh and aahhh when people saw it..

We could also add the early novaks that were THE thing to have..

I talk here more about cars or material that were major breakthroughs at key races.. Like historical race cars if you wish.
