The Fanta one pictured is mine Steve, plus I've got a couple of others as well. Hopefully a few of the other guys will take a look at what you've got and start running them as well. They look SOOOO much better than the crappy Stratus thing that Yokomo give you.

Default MINI'S ARE BACK

Just thought I would revive this old thread since the Mini is starting to pick up steam again since X-rays release of the T1M and has jolted the attention back to Mini Class. A few guys form my local track have them now and they are getting more and more popular. I picked up a used one for nearly nothing plopped in a D6 9x1 and some 3600 for HK and lets just say I can beat most sportsman class guys with there 12X's becaus the track is small and technical.

I love these little guys, They have put the FUN back in RC. WHERE IS SHOULD HAVE ALSWAYS BEEN. If anyone has some setup helps it would be appreciated. Like shock oil weights and springs(I use Rayspeed Spring) ride heights and spur/pinion combos.
Thanks,
Stephen <><

Is there anyone using a 6v RX pack (12th style) for the steering servo?
I have a mini with running on 4 cells with an AIR94737 and it's quite slow in the technical parts of the track

Yea I found the same thing. 4 cells limit the servo greatly. I have made a 6 Cell 2/3 AAA and it makes a difference. I have to say if you need some cells I had to buy extra due to a package deal. If you need some email me or PM and we can work something out. I have six availble. Let me know.
Thanks,
Stephen <><

Bit of a blast from the past...

I picked up a used Yokomo Mini and have been running it informally at a few club meetings. Very competitive with the 19T tourers using 4-cells and a 9T mod. Lots of positive comments from the other racers.

Just wondering though if anyone recalls whether the front C-hubs are marked anywhere with the castor? The ones I have appear unmarked so I assume they are 5 degree? Also the rear hubs are marked with a 2 (2 degree?) and there seems to be no inboard toe on these old Yokomos?

Anyone remember? I did used to have a MR-4BC buggy but that had different parts again on it.
