we've just been running 19 turns so far, chameleons, fantoms, and elements.. i did run a 10x1 and got about 4 good minutes, then it faded.. The stock pinion is a 26 and some of the guys have gone all the way up to 33 (a little motor mount modification needed for that), i'm still at 29 and i'm gettin smoked on the straightaway so far, there really is no hot-ticket setup for us, so everyone's cars are basically evenly matched..

I got a chance to hold one of these cars and I must say that there is alot of flex in the arms and the hub carriers. Not to mention slop. I remember in my old MR4 Special days that the slop actually improved performance than if you shimmed it away.

Striker, We were using both GP 3300 and Sanyo 3300 for the 19T class. Lars used a GP3300 pack when he ran with the mod motor.

You have to cut the shield part off the motor mount plate of to get a 33+ tooth on to the motor. So far the cars have alot of fun to run. The cars are pretty stable considering size and weight. You can run side by side and rub on each other a little bit and it doesn't really upset the cars.

Later, Lee

help wanted - if there are enough people, yes.. I am not going to run mine outside at all, but everyone else is welcome to do so, yes.. just keepin mine on the rug

striker - i was probably overgeared a tooth or 5, but i'm not sure that, and the belts are still new, so its pretty bound up.. I dont know, we might end up running like 12Turns to get them goin a little faster, 19T was fun because the cars are soo evenly matched, and the motors came off luke warm after 5 minutes.. but not a lot of top end so.. we'll see

Saw one of these little beasts running on Sunday at the track. The driver entered in a normal sedan stock class, and ended up 2'nd in the A main. That had a lot to do with driver of coarse, but it definately shows that this car is ready to tear up the track like anything else. I think he managed about a 1 lap faster pace with his normal sedan in expert stock, but that was the first time out with the mini, and he was using all of the stock equipment.

Default Hmm

I was on my way to cut out a chassis when i realized that not just the chassis is shorter, but so are the arms...and joint...hmmm..

Back to square one. Can anyone confirm what parts are interchangeble between the full size and the mini?
