Hey guys- Looks like I'll have to pass on this weekend. X-MAS party. Can't get out of it.

Chrisman- Try my setup and let me know how you like it. Don't forget to make the driving changes.

Looks like the 29th is a go. That will be the next one for me.

Give em hell for me.

Hello Guys,

Been busy this few weeks.U all know the drill......
Last weekend racin was not too bad..Sure has a lot of guys showed up suprisingly.

Monsoon, never did showed up......stood all of us up.

Rcspeedo and Melvin had a blast...they both ended up in the A main in Sportsman..

Kinda boring when the Little Mini's ran . they should have it some where else.

As for me,I had a little challenge driving, with a worned out frt oneways that pulls to the side on acceleration which I didn't think that was the problem and the center shaft pulley set screw came strip.......all these problems in one race.Never had such a bad race.Hopefully,by 29th Dec,I'll have it ready. It's tired of the HP from the mod motors.Time for a long waited rebuild.

Jzone, too bad you did not show up.Otherwise you be in the A pro stock....There's always the next race.

Hey Mytxx......I heard rumours, that an 04R is coming...
hee!!hee!!....still got the herts for it ...wonder if Jzone still has it??..

As for all of the racers on this forum,I wish All of you a Merry X mas and a Happy New year.Remember to play safe and have fun.
All the best for the up coming New year and hopefully better racing and results for 2002. Cheers....

To Stock or not to Stock

Hi dudes,

There is this thing that has been bugging me for quite some time now. Some ppl have been asking me that I should go to stock. I have been weighing out the pros and cons and here is what I came up with.

Pros
If I go into stock, my target would be to win in the B, which I think I can,and an inclusion in the A would be a plus.
I can practice and have better laps. I noticed that most of my good runs are with guys that drive better.
This will also help me for the upcoming trophy races.

Cons
I'll miss being in the A as well as TQ in my current class.
I am having second thoughts if me and my car is ready.
I'll miss getting the 10 bucks at the end of the race.

It will also boil down to my Jedi Master - Jzone. Master do u think I am ready to harness the force?

young luke(rcspeedo).......you must learn to handle the force, before you can harness all of its power. patience young apprentice,,,,,,,,,,for the dark side can be strong and pursuasive, and could lead you down the wrong path............The force is strong with you young luke(rcspeedo)all you need is time.

in other words......if i were you, i'd stay in sportsman to fine tune your skills better and get your timming down.unless you've already done that since i've been away. you wanna come play with the big boys ,,,,,,,,,,,,,in pro stock,,,,,,,,,,,,it's all up to you......are you ready.

don't let others determine you outcome.

Default Plastic outdrives

I heard that if you race stock the plastic outdrives are a benefit so I ordered them. I just got them and I think I have a problem...there is no diff rings for them.. The plastic outdrive kit comes with both sides and 'bushings' made from the same material as the outdrives. I assume you are supposed to pop those out and put in bearings?

Anyway...my kit is a ver II and the diff rings are fused to stock outdrives...thats the way they came, and if I really tug on them they still dont come off (if I bend them I am screwed all together and have to wait another week....so I am not going to pry them off).

Anyone else experience this? Am I supposed to buy some diff rings special for the plastic outdrives? Or do they run as is...(I put it together as is..and its rough, I assume they need diff rings). Also, do I pry out the bushings from the plastic outdrives and put in bearings?

I am the only one in my area with a 7even so I am kind of flying blind.

Thanks
-s

rcspeedo(Young Jedi)- Yes you. You don't have a sister named Lea do you?

The dark side is very tempting offering great rewards and glory. BUT BEWARE! Once you choose the dark path, you may never come back. Make your decition wisely young aprentice. It might be wise to stay under the guidance of Obi one until you have mastered the force.

It is in the end your choice and wich ever path you choose,
May The Force Be With You...
